Hi Ken,

I too have had this problem a little while ago after checking for updates and downloading one that seemed to be a later version 6 than the one I had. On checking it seems that the one I downloaded was intended for beta testers.

The way I overcame this was to uninstall Legacy and then go to the website and download version 6 as though I had never had it on my system before.

Hope this helps.

Ron

Subject: [LegacyUG] V6: Error 380

Greetings.

I have run into a problem with Legacy. I am using the deluxe version. For
some reason, I don't yet understand, I am unable to launch Legacy anymore.
Every time I try to run the programme I get the error message: "380 Invalid
property value". I have been to the Legacy website to see how to resolve
this error, and have followed its directions to the letter by deleting all
of the *.usr files. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled Legacy several
times, but the problem error message still keeps coming back - it just won't
go away. When I try to open an existing file I get another error message
which says: "The language file 'Legacy.ing' is the wrong version.

Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong or advise me on what I
should do next. The whole mess started when I tried to update Legacy from
within the programme. The update process failed and my problems began!

Thanks for any help you can give.

Regards,

Kenneth Carkeet
