I'm going through files, trying to improve my sources and I'm fairly new to
Legacy. If I want to include the details related to a certificate - for
example - information that comes from Free BMD in the UK - or from
1837online.uk such as
Sep Qtr 1895; Smith, Frank; Epsom; vol 2a, page 53
Am I best to put it in the Detail Information, the Detail Text or the
Comments of the source?
So far I've been sticking it in Detail Information and just checked and it
did seem to transfer in a Gedcom and then into PAF.
In another case I took census information and pasted it in the actual text
into the Detail Text. I'm assuming that there is no easy way to maintain
any formatting. When the information got to PAF it was completely
unformatted but a few well placed "enters" make it readable.
Comments appreciated
