If you're going to "back-track", you need to do the following steps else you'll run into problems:
1. Uninstall Legacy 6.0. This will not delete any of your family files, pictures or other data. It will only remove Legacy 6.0. 2. With Windows Explorer find and look in the C:\Legacy folder or what ever folder you had Legacy installed in. Within this folder you will find several files remaining that you will need to delete. Carefully delete all of the files in the Legacy folder but DO NOT delete any of the folders like the Data folder, Picture Folder or Web Folder as these folders hold your data and you don't want to accidentally delete your family file or pictures. All the other files should be deleted. 3. Use this link and download and install the final build of Legacy 5.0. http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/DownloadUpdate5.asp The password required when Installing is: Password: family 4. Start Legacy 5.0 and click on Help, Unlock Deluxe Edition and enter your version 5.0 Deluxe Edition Customer Number. Thanks for using Legacy.
