I'm using the deluxe version but this should work in standard.

1. click on the picture icon to open the picture gallery;
2. Select either the sound or video icon on the picture gallery;
3. When the file selection window opens click on the down arrow 
beside the box that says sound or video files, a drop down list 
will open and at the bottom is "all files" select that.
4. Browse to your folder with the pdf or other file and select it.
voila you're done.
