Susan,

Since you haven't had any other responses, I will comment.

You SHOULD be able to copy all the .USR files without problem. Once in a
while you will encounter a problem that will require removing a .USR file or
other files and allow the system to re-create them. That said, you might
want to create a folder under c:\legacy called MySettings and copy all the
NEW .USR files into this folder, copy all the .USR files from the old
computer and give it a try. If all works well, you are good to go. If you
have problems, you can just copy the files from c:\legacy\MySettings folder
back into the c:\legacy folder overwriting the older .USR files.

Since you installed the exact same version of Legacy onto the new computer
as the old computer, you can also opt to copy every file (Not the folders)
in the c:\legacy folder from the new computer to the new folder "MySettings"
and then copy all files from c:\legacy (Not the folders) on the old computer
to c:\legacy on the new computer. This will ensure all files are
transferred.

Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Transferring USR files etc. to new computer

Just wondering if anyone can help me out - I will be departing
tomorrow and hope to get Legacy up and running ASAP! Please let me
know if my questions are confusing, or is it that this is regarding
version 5, so no one can help with that anymore?
Thank you,
Susan
