The location preposition field has been most useful to me as many of my
ancestors were residents of rural areas in Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia,
and NC. Communities were often identified by watershed, ie, born on
Miller's Creek, as opposed to born "in" Miller's Creek. Other locations
were identified by a Church, School, or crossroads. Died on Chop Chestnut
Ridge, etc. These areas mostly preceded the designation of townships.
I certainly hope this capability is retained in future builds of Legacy.

I have the same situation - the preposition field is no longer present on
the Add/Edit location screen. But when you highlight a location on the
master list there is a comment below the scrolling part of the window that
gives both the short name and the preposition.
