Ruth,
Saw Publishing Center book items in mixed up order several times in early
public downloads of Legacy 6. Have you tried creating a new book with build
6.0.0.73? There were some undocumented changes to fix index problems like
the double names if the same individual was in a report and also in a chart.
Double names in the index showed in the sample book in the orignal online
video advertising Legacy 6.

It was hard to see the difference between duplicate individuals and same
name individuals in the index using the Sample file unless birth-death dates
or RIN numbers were included.

Set Order allows the book chapters to be moved up or down and the
"Additional Items" seem to stay at the front of the book. Try removing a
book item in the "wrong" position, close Legacy 6 and then add the book item
again when Legacy 6 is opened.

"Include Border Line" for pictures is still a problem. That setting comes
back each time Legacy 6 is closed. Most pictures look better with no border
line -- it sometimes appears offset with white space on the left and the
line through the right side of the picture when a Legacy PDF book is
printed. The picture options would have to be reset to remove border line
each time the Legacy file is opened (or before saving a report/book.)
