Tom, Which version of Legacy do you have? This is an old problem that's been fixed.

I am not a Word person as I have always used Word Perfect for my processing needs. However I do have a copy of WP97 on my computer in order to make the occasional (Legacy) descendant book but there is (always) this problem. All female descendants are formatted like this: "Fviii.Ethel Minerva Noon". With cursor in front of the F, a tap on the space bar will format the individual correctly: "F viii. Ethel Minerva Noon". There is no such problem with the male entries. Is this Word doing this? Or me doing something wrong? Or perhaps peculiar to Word 97? Legacy? Anyone have an idea how it might be corrected????? Any help appreciated.................... Tom M.........
