Thank you David, Ron and Frances - that explains it very well, no wonder I
couldn't find it. Obviously I need to brush up on my Latin.

Thanks again

Ibid. means ibidem, or "the same." It is a standard footnoting expression
which refers to the previously cited source, meaning that source applies
again at the next point.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Master Source List - trying to delete an entry

Hi,

I have a Master Source which shows up on the source list page when I
produce
a Descendants Book. I cannot find this source to delete it.

I have viewed the Master List of sources and it doesn't show up there. I
also went through all the people in the file and deleted all sources
assigned to them, and then deleted all the Master Souces - then it didn't
show up in the Descendants Book. As soon as I put Master Sources in again
it appeared.

Hope this query is understandable and someone can advise what I am doing
wrong/how I can find this source and delete.

Ibid, RG 13/3985 - is the source in question - the RG number is the page
number of a census sheet I have input against another Master Source, but
the
"Ibid," don't know what this is.

I am using V6 with the latest update.

Thanks

Lynne
