Hi Zardie,

Legacy does not store the pictures in its database only the path. So you need to transfer the pictures across to your new computer yourself. Obviously it is better (easier) if they are in the same folder.

When this has been done if you if go to a record in Legacy to which a picture has been attached you will get a message saying "picture cannot be found" and asked whether you want Legacy to search for it or browse yourself. Usually I find it easier to browse myself as I know where it is. The just follow the instructions.

If all the pictures are in the same folder Legacy should then find the rest automatically.

Have a good new year.

I am having trouble getting pictures back into the database when transfering my database to another machine. When making a backup no media is saved with the original database. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
