Researchers should plan for children and spouses staying in order by date after a file transfer. Some put their own ancestor first but that makes files difficult to compare when families are out of order by date.
Without dates it is easy to merge same-name individuals. Legacy 6 Deluxe doesn't allow you to merge a same-name father and son but it does allow you to add the son as his own grandfather. -- Elizabeth ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ron Ferguson" > A small point but one which some people may find useful - if, after > sorting, the assumed dates are removed the children/spouses retain their > new order.
