Gail, Very cool! I really like the look of the TNG site - it is so clean and easy to read. It is really appealing. I take it that before you zapped all the blank lines that the spacing was really off.

As for my web site, I currently have two. I have the old site, generated using Legacy, in which the blank lines are not a problem. The events look just like they do in reports. I plan to phase this site this eventually, however. Here is an example of one ancestor's page: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~nestorgenealogy/345.html My new web site is generated via an outside company called TNG. In this case, though, you still won't see the yucky blank lines because Brian has already kindly zapped them via Access so that the formatting now looks good. Here is that same ancestor's page in the new site: http://www.roots2buds.net/getperson.php?personID=I345&tree=nestor I highly recommend using the carriage return formatting in Legacy instead of inserting a blank line. Then you will not have a problem on web pages either way. By the way, I love the new web site because it functions very much like a database. However, the primary drawbacks (as I see them) are that I lose my event sentences and my short location names. I am still planning a lot of customization, but see what you think.
