A default GEDCOM might have the search word split in notes but Legacy GEDCOM
export has an option to split notes between whole words. Access 2003 costs
around $200 for a full version or $100 as an upgrade. I bought Microsoft
Office 2003 but not the more expensive Pro version which includes Access.

One workaround would be to export your Legacy data to a GEDCOM, then use
a text editor to search the GEDCOM for "Elmira".

P.S. Because MS Access is the underlying database, you can always
purchase a copy of Access and "roll your own" queries.
