Estimated births and deaths allow custom reports of individuals alive
(possibly) at the time sources are available. Symbols in date fields may
result in *lost* events and not just lost dates when a GEDCOM is transferred
to a non-Legacy genealogy program.

Legacy 6 has a new method to find children out of order by birth date.
Legacy 6 doesn't stop you from adding yourself as your own grandparent. Some
families have many same-name individuals close in age (cousins) and
same-name individuals in different generations with increased risk of data
entry errors when dates of birth are omitted.

Plan to test every utility you might want to use with Legacy 6 Deluxe and
plan to test transfers to every genealogy program used by your research
contacts before using non-standard dates or symbols in the date fields. --
