Yes, that is true, but only at the lower transfer rate - you have to
have a dedicated 2.0 port to get the full benefit. Jim is correct in
that you have to swap out the motherboard to become fully compliant with
2.O - it is either that or the cardbus. And even then you might have
additional problems as W98a does not support USB, 98se can be converted
with a little work and while 98c does support very few copies of those
are around.
