Kathie,

On the Legacy Home tab, click on the Options button, select Options and then
take a look at the Internet Options tab - which option is selected?

Norton can be a problem. Try completely shutting NIS down and see if you
can get through.

Thanks for using Legacy.

Subject: RE: [LegacyUG] Lost contact with internet

Norton isn't asking me if I want to block Legacy from accessing the net from
the links on the Legacy Home tab. Legacy News and the Update links just
don't connect.

However, the Internet links on the menu bars (both the icon and the word)
connect just fine. I've been working with the "Search Internet for Current
Person ..." feature all afternoon. (Great feature, BTW! It's super not to
have to log into Ancestry.com as a separate action.)

I miss being able to see the Legacy News when I open the program.
