Hello Brian,

What you say about burning is quite correct.
Now and again messages appear on the list about backing up to a CD, but makes no reference to burning the CD.

I have backed up before now to a RW Disk, only to find when I have changed my CD reader for whatever the reason the CD's from previous backups whether they are Legacy or not, the new reader cannot read the files.
I don't know if this would apply to a jaz reader or a USB memory stick.


If you agree with my comments perhaps you can post a message of warning to the list.

Yes it may be distributed on a CD to family and friends. Go to the Tips page and read the article on sharing your family file on CD to get the how-to's.
