Steve,

I just ran a 280 page Descendant Book report on a Pentium 150 in
Version 5. It took less than 15 minutes to collect all the names
and generate the report. The first thing you should see when you
click the create button is a window to tell Legacy the file name
to use for the report. It will not start the report until you
have supplied that name.

Thank you!

Problem solved -- I was waiting for Legacy to create a file so I could name and save it. It was waiting for me to name the file so it could create it.

Took all of 15 seconds, once you know how.

Hi, Steve --

Just out of curiousity, where was the "save as" dialogue while it was waiting? Had it wandered off the page?

Just want to know what to look for in case this ever happens to me.

Thanks,

Tam
