Bill:

I think that you can sort you To Do list by those that are "C" Closed or those 
that are "O" Open, so you can list closed items the bottom, rather than 
having to put in the XX's.  I'll have to give it a try and let the list know, 
if noone else answers the question before.

Dan:
I researched how to show and print only Open To Do items.

Under the View menu select To Do list on the resulting window select Print, 
then under the Sort tab deselect Closed,  then select print.  This will print 
only Open items, as you will see under the Sort option you can customize  
beyond what I described here.
