Thanks for the list (even if it is an old version).

I think that I am going to go ahead and complete a relationship entity model
of the access database.

I want to do this - due to my frustration with the generated web pages of
Legacy. It seems daft when you have all this great information in your
relational database, that Legacy produces static html pages - not just a few
but thousands if you have the numbers that I do in my tree.

By completing a relational entity model - I'll be easily able to write the 4
ASP (Active Server Pages) pages to replace the current thousands of Legacy
generated html pages.

The 4 pages based on what is produced by Legacy currently would be

person.asp - one page that replaces the thousands of numbered.htm pages.
default.asp - replaces default.htm
surname.asp - replace surname.htm
name.asp - replaces all of the namesX.htm pages

So instead of just uploading the thousands of html files - which takes
forever - I can just upload the database and have the ASP pages query the
database directly.

Seems a much better way of delivering content.

Agreed - it is something that better suits the propeller heads out there.

If any one else is interested in this approach email me, and I'll keep you
posted of developments.

Regards

Blair M. Rogers
