Thanks for the idea. Just doing back up and restore must do something
with
the multimedia, because I see them on the restored data. My concern is that
they may be linked to a file I just happen to have on both computers, and if
I don't have the same linked file on both computers, I won't see it.

I regularly copy my data from a laptop to a desktop and vice versa, but just
copy the files in the \Legacy\Data\ and \Legacy\Pictures\ directories (I
don't have sounds). Using Backup and Restore sounds a bit complicated.
Actually I don't copy all the files, just new and changed ones, using an
ancient DOS utility called BAC.COM.
