I believe this shows the folly of separating the two lines.  Since 
there is obviously more than one connection between them why separate 
them?  Legacy is quite capable of handling them (and a lot more) in 
one family file.

If they are split then some (in Charlotte's case 2 or more) 
individuals will need to be duplicated in each file and then updating 
them, and adding further to them, becomes problematic.

My family file contains 330 separate trees, and many of these consist 
of different lines with an odd connection between them.  If I need a 
report for just one line or wish to send a partial tree to someone I 
do it by copying the tree to a temporary database and stripping out 
what's not needed.
