Bruce,
I have MS Streets & Trips, a 2003 version. What myself and a member of
our local Legacy Users Group found was that the newer versions of this
program do not carry forth a lot of the smaller, "out in the county"
locations; I.E. Towns, Villages, Cemeteries, etc.
If you are wishing it to pin point for entering the Latitude & Longitude
in your recording to Legacy, it will give you that information if you
are able to locate the site on the program.
To do so ---
Click at the top on the tools feature
Next click in the drop-down menu Location Sensor
This will then make a box appear, most likely in the lower right
hand corner of the screen and you will not the Latitude & Longitude
listings there. As you move your cursor around the map those
figures will then change.

I read the article on the use of GPS in genealogy, and I am reasonably
impresses.
I found MicroSoft Streets & Trips with GPS for $99 at Costco.
My question is will I be able to get the Latitude & Longitude from
this device/program, or does it just show the location on the map?
Or, if I know the Latitude & Longitude can I put it into the program
and have it show the location on the map? I can't find the answers on
the product box or MicroSoft's web site.
Does anyone know?
Thanks,
Bruce,
