Cristal, Did you use the specific Paf import feature in Legacy? If you did, you will get a very good result where you followed PAF's data entry structure closely. If, over the years, you "invented" some conventions of your own then neither Legacy, or any other program, will give you some results that may need editing. But the worst that will happen I think is that anything you put in PAF notes will be retained in Legacy as notes. Maybe you can give us non-PAF users a little more information on what you want it to look like in Legacy? An important tool in Legacy is the ability to copy the details of an event and paste the same information in as events in other people's files. So for your 1870 Census example, you can create an event with all the common information, paste the event to everyone using it, then edit just the citation differences.
