That's something I've been wanting for quite some time. Wrote my own software
to do it (which doesn't help anyone else)! And, in fact, is becoming my reason
for taking the leap to The Next Generation software for my online website. I
use Legacy for my own research, but for displaying that research online, I
might well go to using TNG.

I've run across any number times where I want to show someone a specific
connection. Meet a new distant cousin. Show my descent from the common
ancestor - just that one line, as you're asking in your note - and then show
the other person's descent from that same ancestor.

Or, to show my Uncle Ron his specific descent from ggg-grandfather Smith. If I
could make that specific report, showing that line of ancestry with no other
relatives to confuse the picture, that would be a very useful report. But, so
far as I know, Legacy doesn't support it - yet.
