Hi Jennifer,
There is a reasonably quick way if you change folder name or the path to the folder but not when you change filename.

You can work from Options > Customise - Locations tab
Test all multimedia paths button.
This puts up a dialogue box when it can't find a particular photo and you can then redirect it to the new file. If you've moved folders, you just have to find one file in the moved folder and Legacy finds the rest. However, I think you'll have to do it each time the photo is used with a file name change.

Good luck,
Cathy

I was inspired to rename some of my picture files. Ooops! Now Legacy
can't find them. I have searched the Archives and can't find a simple
solution, so I thought I'd ask the experts.

I changed the names of census files. Previously, they were
1850 State County Township
Now they are
1850 State County Township Family name

There may be six people using that picture on their census event.

Is there an easy way to tell Legacy to look for the new name for
everyone who used the previous path? OR...will I need to reconnect
these one by one? There aren't that many, so it's not a huge problem,
but if there is a quick way that would save some time I would be happy
to use it.

Thank you in advance for any direction you friendly, helpful folks might offer.

Jennifer
