What "Events" do people use, for attaching pictures of the primary events,
such as birth certificate or wedding portrait?
---------------

That is the most important question about the use of images with Legacy
because right-justified images look best with some text. Do you want to move
the birth note to a custom birth-pic event or use the note space for the
birth-pic instead of the caption etc.

A birth certificate or wedding portrait often looks best as a six inch (or
centered) image close to the event date. Legacy reports can have 5-inch (or
smaller) right-justified images with *custom* event names for pictures that
would otherwise be associated with birth date, christening, marriage, death
or burial.

Legacy reports saved as PDF are limited to ONE size of image. Source images
in endnotes can be a different size. Commonly collected family pictures
range from small face pictures to full page group pictures. You will need to
decide if it is worth linking small images "for reference only" in the
example of a scanned obit that prints too small to read.

If you want to save Legacy 6 DELUXE reports as RTF and open in a word
processor, there is an option for embedded pictures. Wait to see if spouse
pictures are included in the _next_ Legacy 6 Deluxe update and then check to
see if your event picture files are the "right" size. Also check to see if
the captions are suitable. -- Elizabeth
