When Legacy offers to find missing multi-media files for you be aware of possible corruption.

I have a small, (300 person) file of people from Neudorf, Baden created from reading 3 LDS microfilms. My pictures of film are named: Page1.jpg,, Page2.jpg, etc. My directory has;
C:\Legacy\MM\church_records\Neudorf\1053230\item1_baptisms\Page#
C:\Legacy\MM\church_records\Neudorf\1053230\item1_marriages\Page#
C:\Legacy\MM\church_records\Neudorf\1053230\item1_deaths\Page#
C:\Legacy\MM\church_records\Neudorf\1053230\item2_baptisms\Page#
C:\Legacy\MM\church_records\Neudorf\1053230\item3_baptisms\Page#
C:\Legacy\MM\church_records\Neudorf\1053231\item1_baptisms\Page#
C:\Legacy\MM\church_records\Neudorf\1053231\item2_baptisms\Page#
C:\Legacy\MM\church_records\Neudorf\1053231\item4_marriages\Page#
C:\Legacy\MM\church_records\Neudorf\1053346\family_albums\Page#

A file named Page12, for example could be in any of 9 possible directorys. When I renamed two of my directorys for conformity, the file path was broken. I let legacy find them and they were scattered into 6 different wrong directorys. The leftovers, page numbers that weren't found in other directorys were not found by Legacy, I had to link one manually and then the others were found.

Fortunately, I was able to correct the paths using MS Access.

My main database has people photos with common filenames like "age1" or "Christmas2001" that might be found in multiple directory paths. If your tree is anything like mine Don't let Legacy try to find missing links.
