The solution to this problem is to never, ever be the first to download and
install the newest update of *any* software program. Let some other poor
soul be the first to learn that there is a major bug in the newest fix. For
just a moment, pretend that Legacy comes out of Redmond and act
accordingly. Better safe (slow) than sorry.

Every downloadable software program turns into a non-stop test project!
After 11 public downloads of Legacy 6, why does it still need a "ton of bug
fixes" and will there be a new program CD? Some registered customers have
learned to keep backups of program builds and data files to match because a
few builds of Legacy *added* new bugs. One customer had to use a prior
build of Legacy to finish a book in time for a family reunion a few years ago.
