I think this boils down to whether you are a "splitter" or a "lumper". What Ron proposes will certainly give fewer Master Sources but will mix together several descrete sources. I would use Military as the event(it does already exist on the Event section) and each unique Source eg pension records, service records, as Master Sources then "detail" for each individual record. I am certainly no expert and agonize how to Source each time I do. Nick Cirillo
