I have for sale a set of 9 Initio INI-MP3 FireWire to IDE bridge boards for $30 each OBO. These FireWire controller boards convert any IDE device, including hard drives and optical drives, to FireWire 400. These can be daisy chained together using the two 6 pin FireWire sockets on the boards. Included with each board is the little "Z" shaped adapter board so it can plug directly into the back of the IDE device. These are very small boards that easily fit on the back of an IDE drive. These could be used to create a huge 18 hard drive FireWire array. I used them to create a FireWire CD duplicator with 9 burners for my Macintosh. I still have the tower case from the FireWire CD duplicator if you want a complete package ready for you to add your drives to. Please feel free to ask questions. I will answer you.
