I've got several G3 CPU upgrade cards: 1) 400 MHz Sonnet "L2" slot upgrade with 1 MB L2 cache. THIS IS A RARE CARD. It fits the L2 slot and will upgrade a TAM (20th Anniversary Mac). It also works in some other models: Power Macintosh 4400, 5400, 6400, 6500, 7220; Performa 54xx, 6360, 64xx; PowerBase Desktop, Minitower; StarMax 3000, 5000; UMAX C500, C600, C600X
This is NOT a common card, and was very much more expensive than normal G3 upgrades. $60 shipped. (there are some on eBay for $70 Buy It Now plus extra for shipping, so this is a savings for a RARE card). 2) 300 MHz NewerTech MaxPower G3 with 512 MB L2 cache for PowerMac 7300-9600 series and clones. $20 shipped. 3) 300 MHz NewerTech MaxPower G3 with 1 MB L2 cache PowerMac 7300-9600 series and clones. $25 shipped. Kris Tilford - Topeka, Kansas 66611 I also have some 604e cards for the PowerMac 7300-9600 series and clones, mostly 300 MHz cards, they may only work on 8600 & 9600's (I don't know for sure?), they have 1 MB onboard L2 caches and are some of the fastest 604e cards ever made. $8 shipped for one, or $20 shipped for a whole bunch (5 or 6 or more?). --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to LEM-Swap.
