I had to sell most of my Macs (Fiancee got laid off GRR!) to pay the rent so all I have left is a desktop- I need something portable for classes and writing, and I happen to have some misc. stuff for a Wallstreet so I figure it would be nice to put one together instead of having to write all my notes on my Newton! I am very budget-minded (gotta pay the bills) but if you have one in good shape sitting around, please let me know! Thanks in advance! I have OS X to put on it so I kinda would like a later unit with a 1MB L2 Cache and if you have one, a DVD drive (for 10.2) but I already have the decoder card.
P.S. good battery is not a must but if you have a good battery and no wallstreet to use it, that might help me out as well! I used to to serice work on these so I know 'em well....
