I've got a PowerMac G5 tower for sale for parts. Unit is a dual 2.3ghz model.
Has 512mb of ram installed, HD was removed. Video card is installed and it will
boot from an external or internal drive. However, it seems to boot and run ok
and then after a period of time (sometimes within 5 min sometimes it a day) it
will freeze completely. No panic message just a complete screen freeze. I have
tried different HD, Ram, and video card with no change. Problem is either the
logic board, CPUs, or Power Supply. I don't have a machine to swap parts with
to figure out what is bad so I am just going to sell it for parts. Asking $350
plus shipping.
