I have a 320GB WD bare (no enclosure) USB drive pulled from a WD passport drive. The best way for me to describe this drive is that, it's a 2.5" drive with a USB interface instead of a SATA interface.
The drive works great all you need is a USB cord. I have pics if you would like to see the drive.
