This was my mother's laptop... the video went out and I had the screen (14") replaced by TechRestore. It worked for about a week then went out again. I don't know if it is a faulty screen or if the onboard video is bad. I had it taken apart by an authorized Apple retailer in Prescott, AZ so could save her HD.
