I have a dual 1.42GHZ FW800 MDD for sale. It is a conversion from a
single 1.25GHZ FW400. The specs are: Dual 1.42 processors with copper
heatpipe heatsink, arctic silver 5, and new 120mm blower, 200gb and
120gb hdd, dual layer lightscribe dvd burner, USB 2.0 card with 4
external, one internal port (useful for internal bluetooth/internal
wireless keyboard and mouse receiver), ATI radeon 9800 pro 128mb card
(reflashed from PC version, with taped pins). It is missing one hard
drive bracket, and I couldnt get the rear panel from a FW800 MDD, so i
cut out the back of the original rear panel plastic, i think it looks
pretty good. but then again, how often will you look at it. Also, the
fan on the video card might need to be replaced as it occasionally
makes some noise. Outside is clean, no cracks or deep gouges in case,
and it has recently been disassembled and cleaned thoroughly. It will
come with blank HDD's as i do not have original software. Looking to
get $425 shipped from 34474 (ocala, fl). Or maybe you have something
interesting to trade? One more thing, the system will come with a
logitech wireless keyboard and mouse combo, the rechargeable batteries
went bad in the mouse some time ago, now i just use regular AA
batteries, the keyboard is mac compatible with option, apple, etc..
keys.
