Hi Swappers, Somewhat reluctantly selling my very updated pismo. My work requires me to do quite a bit of x86_64 compiling now, and it seems to sit there lonely. Would prefer it to have a loving home.
It is the 500Mhz model, with 768 M of ram. It has a BRAND NEW, one weekend old, 160 Gig Hard drive, and a DVD/CDRW tray loading module in the media bay. The faceplate is a tiny bit smaller than the original DVD Drive one, but has not been an issue for me, but wanted to mention it in the interest of full disclosure. The original DVD module will come as well. It has an about 3 or 4 month old APC Brand Battery in it, and keeps a great charge for a few hours. It has a wireless card, recently purchased as well, as I needed one that supports encryption. The screen is nice and bright, has a crisp look. The pismo has very few light scuffs on the outside and the inside doesn't look like it was ever used. The computer currently triple boots 9.22, 10.4.11, and Fedora 12 Linux. All three load and run fantastic on this machine. And Classilla is awesome on here on 9.2.2. The original software CD's are included, and I will do a full clean fresh install before it leaves here. Obviously a ton of money has been put into this machine, as I honestly thought I would keep it forever. I lost track a while back, but it is in $500 range. I would like to get $300 plus paypal fees and $17.00 for CONUS shipping with insurance and Priority Mail. Feel free to email any questions. Shipping will be from 75067 Thank you Chris Tucker Lewisville, Texas 75067 -- You received this message because you are a member of the LEM Swap group.
