Swappers, I picked up this upgraded Clamshell iBook from Dan E. Forsythe awhile back, and it's been a wonderful little machine. Specs and condition:
PowerPC 466MHz G3 576 MB RAM 120 GB hard drive - passes verification, super quiet! DVD-ROM - testing, working AirPort Yo-yo power adapter FireWire, Ethernet, modem, USB, audio ports - all tested, working Will ship with no OS unless you specify you have discs. (I've been dual-booting 10.4.11 and 9.2.2 and it's been AWESOME.) Cosmetically, it's in excellent shape (8.5 out of 10). It has the normal scuffs you'd expect from a decade-old machine, but there are no cracks anywhere. Perfect screen, no dead/stuck pixels. The Apple logo and leaf are still intact. A couple small issues: 1) The main battery is basically dead (maaaaybe 2 minutes, if you're lucky). If you want a working battery (1+ hrs), I can probably dig one up. $10 extra. 2) Every once in awhile, it'll be cranky about powering on. This issue existed when I bought the 'Book. I've only had this happen twice in over a year, and it seemed to happen only when the machine had been sitting dormant for a long time (months). Holding the power button down for a few seconds, then trying again, does the trick. Asking $135 shipped. I'll accept PayPal balance transfer and USPS money order.
