I retrieved the hard drive from my son's 12" G3 iBook which would not start up (black screen). I'm not sure what is wrong with it, but do NOT want to put it back together without a hard drive, and do not want it anymore.
I did get it to start up while squeezing left of the track pad, but not long enough to do anything but see the screen, and I am not interested in trying to fix it. Included: Everything included except the hard drive and battery (which didn't hold much charge anyway). Includes the power brick and Airport card Screws are taped to the ifixit instruction sheets. I broke part of the inner frame when dismantling (in the battery bay, see photo). Not sure about the condition of the CD drive The bottom plastic feet are all gone. I will package it well, but will not put it back together. $60 includes shipping to lower 48, o.b.o.
