Hi Swappers, I have a 2008 MacBook Core2Duo with a bad motherboard, selling for parts. I'd like to sell the whole unit, but if that fails, I'll be parting it out.
The MacBook was killed by approx. 1 fl. oz. of ginger ale spilled on the left-lower side of the keyboard. The motherboard appears to fried, as a replacement top-case didn't work and the laptop will no longer draw power. The LCD was in perfect shape before the incident, and all of the plastics are pretty good (8.5 out of 10). I can't verify the functionality of the AirPort Extreme card (b/g), but it didn't need cleaning when I disassembled everything. (Dried ginger ale looks a lot like sand...) The hard drive and battery will not be included. If you have a working motherboard in need of a home, this is the project for you! Asking $150, or best offer for the whole unit. Pictures and serial number available on request. Feel free to ask questions!
