parts were working when last used and/or recently tested. Please feel

Both of these iBooks have suffered the dreaded logic board failure as
documented here: http://coreyarnold.org/ibook/ I did the recommended
fix which consists of putting a rubber bumper/shim on top of a
particular chip on the logic board however they still don't operate
consistently. They both work great when clamped to a table (as
described in the article), though.
