I have a brand-new, factory sealed Apple LCD display assembly (Apple's official service part # 661-5215)
This particular display assembly is compatible with: MC118LL/A - MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2.53GHz, Mid 2009) and MB985LL/A - MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2009) The shipping box has been opened for inspection purposes, but the display is still factory sealed in a static-resistant bag and the safety labels are still unbroken. There is an iSight camera board built into this assembly. Experienced techs could likely utilize the LCD panel or the iSight board as well as the display clamshell, hinge assembly, inverter board and glass for use in other applications or repairs if so inclined. I paid Apple's stock price for this part which was $499.00 + shipping but I'm asking $400.00 (OBO) (+ free shipping within the lower 48, elsewhere, please contact me for a quote.). It was purchased for someone who needed a replacement display and then later backed out on the repair, leaving me stuck with a part that I have no other use for, so I'm just trying to recoup some of the cost.
