All of the parts listed below are from my iBook G4 14-inch (M9848LL/A Model No. A1134 originally purchased in September of 2005). I'm selling the parts because my motherboard went out, so I bought a new Mac and decided that it would be smarter to sell the working parts, since REUSING is ALWAYS better than RECYCLING! :)
I have the whole computer, but I am keeping the hard drive and have already sold the operating system CDs. There is no removable memory. Other than that, if there is something I haven't listed here that you need, please let me know (I'm not an expert on what is salvageable in computer parts)! I'd also be open to a package deal for everything listed here for $175 OBO. I now own a MacBook Pro, so if you have accessories for it that you'd like to trade, I'm open to that as well. Here is what is for sale: 1. LCD screen-Although the computer is a "14-inch," the screen actually only measures about 12 inches from side to side with a tape measurer once removed from the laptop casing (approx 9 inches from top to bottom). It is in good condition. There are some very faint marks on it, but they don't affect the way the screen works and are hardly noticeable. The marks are manufacture's defects…a few of my fiends with the same or similar computer have the same marks and nobody seems to care that much. I used it for years like this and it didn't bother me, but I want the buyer to know exactly what they are getting. It's clean and works well. It is the original part, so it's an Apple product. It's removed from all casing and ready to be installed. I looked on Amazon and these screens go for about $135 new, so I'll take $100 OBO. 2. Rechargeable battery from 14 inch iBook G4. I recently bought this battery on ebay, and then less than 2 months later the motherboard crashed, but the good news is that this battery is still in great condition! :) I think I paid $60 for it, but I'll take $30 OBO. 3. Charger from 14 inch iBook G4. The seem to be selling on ebay for about $30...I'll take $20 OBO. 4. Keyboard from 14 inch iBook G4. I think it's a 922-6913 (though I cant be sure because it's not written anywhere on the part). The prices are all over the board for these, so I'll stick to the low end and take $50 OBO. 5. Top Case & Trackpad from 14 inch iBook G4. I'll take $10 OBO. 6. Apple iBOOK G4 DVD+-RW Super Drive UJ-845-C. I'll take $35 OBO.
