Basement clean-up continues...
After having had my hands in many an iMac G3, I can say that I have had the
best
luck with Western Digital drives, especially on the noise scale. I purchased
these, described as "working pulls" a while ago in a large quantity, had good
success with the ones I used, and now know that I don't need all of them. Your
only risk is that if you get it, use it and find it not to your liking, I will
accept its return for a full refund.
Labeled as Western Digital WD200, identified as either Caviar, or Protege, and
manufactured in 2000, 2001, or 2002. The jumper settings will arrive set to
either "single" or "cable select".
These are great for upgrading pre-500 MHz iMacs, or for adding a second drive
to
a PowerMac.
1 for $13.50 shipped - $8.50 each additional
Specify a quantity and make an offer if you want more than 3.
