Greetings all. I'd like to purchase a working external DVD drive that has a FireWire 400 interface.
This will be used with a slot-loading iMac 400 MHz that has a problematic DVD drive. The cost in time and money to replace the internal drive isn't worth it my opinion, but an external FW DVD drive is a quicker fix and can be used with the iMac and other computers. I'd prefer a SuperDrive (DVD writer), but I'd accept a Combo Drive (reads DVDs only) if sufficiently inexpensive. Please don't offer anything that has had problems or that you aren't certain works fine. Thanks all.
