I'm trying to save up enough money for a used MacBook Pro, so I'm selling off some of my Mac collection. All prices include shipping to the continental US, pictures and more information available on request.
iMac DV Snow: 500mhz PowerPC G3 512mb RAM 30gb HD DVD-ROM Currently dual-booting OS-9 and Tiger, drive will be wiped before shipping. No keyboard, mouse, or power cord. Good cosmetic condition. I've seen plenty of these iMacs abused by schools and children, but there are no major scuffs or scratches on this one. The handle can't be used to lift the computer, but it still looks fine. Good working condition. The screen is starting to show some age, there is occasionally some slight discoloration, similar to a passive matrix LCD, but most of the time it isn't noticeable. Also, the speakers work well at average volume, but if you turn it all the way up there is some slight distortion. I've mostly been using this computer to play DVDs and neither of these issues have caused any problems. $100 shipped PowerMac G4 Sawtooth/AGP: 500mhz PowerPC G4 (top of the line model) 384mb RAM 10gb HD DVD-RAM SCSI card AirPort bracket (no card) Currently running Panther, drive will be wiped before shipping. Power cord included, no keyboard or mouse. Very good cosmetic condition, the only problem is some minor marks on one side, and I think I'll be able to get these off before shipping. Perfect working condition. I've found it very usable with older versions of Photoshop and similar graphics applications, and it only got better when I tried it with 1gb of RAM. I don't have any DVD-RAMs to test the drive, but it works great with plain old DVDs. $100 shipped PowerBook Duo 230: 33mhz 68030 8mb RAM 120mb hard drive (I think) Built in modem System 7.1 Power cord included This is in excellent condition. It looks just about perfect, still works well, and the battery even lasts five minutes or so (not enough to really use, but enough to keep it in sleep mode for a while while unplugged). this is one of the nicest Duos out there, and it is amazing just how small and light this 20 year old laptop is. $75 shipped MyVu personal media viewer (video goggles): These are extremely cool, straight out of a science fiction movie. These are a set of self contained video glasses that can plug into any device using RCA cables and display it on the two built-in 320x240 LCD screens. The effect is roughly like sitting a few feet away from a 60" TV screen. They also have bullt-in headphones and a carrying case along with a few extras. I love these, but with my poor vision I can't really use them that much (they will fit over glasses, but its not very comfortable). I believe they sell corrective snap-in lenses, but those are nowhere near the strength of my prescription. These glasses are very lightly used and come in the original packaging with all the extras. Also included is the extra cost iPod cable, which allows you to directly connect them to an iPod or iPhone, also in the original packaging. $100 shipped. Apple USB keyboard (iMac style): I'm not sure what color this is, my best guess would be Blueberry or Bondi. $10 shipped, or I can throw it in with the iMac or Power Mac for free. PowerBook 3400/Kanga 12x CD-ROM drive: I accidentally bought this a few years ago thinking it was a different speed than the one I have and I've just kept it as a backup drive. Works perfectly. $25 shipped. Polaroid PerfectData 5.25" Single Side Double Density floppy disks: I have two boxes of these, still sealed in perfect condition. Each box has ten floppies and a high quality plastic case with a fan-style organizer (I'm not sure if I've explained that correctly, ask to see pictures). These work perfectly in my Apple IIc, and you can tell by the look and feel of the disks that they are a much higher quality than most 5.25" floppies. I have a crate of these, but I can spare two boxes $15 each, or both for $25, shipped. If you think any of my prices are too high, feel free to make an offer, and of course pictures of everything are available on request. I only accept PayPal, and I'll only ship to the continental US (I may be willing to ship elsewhere for extra charge, but it depends on where and how hard it will be). I may be listing more in the next few days, this is just all I could think of right now.
