Got in a new batch of eMacs, and all need down converter boards. I'm looking
for down converters that fit 800 MHz to 1.42 GHz ATI G4 eMacs. A dead one I've
got in front of me says, "820-1486-A, Apple Computer Inc. 2003."

The eMacs will boot and run, then do all sort of funny things as the capacitors
warm up. Some beep, then after numerous false starts finally will boot and run
perfectly for hours, then will revert to beeping again after a cold restart.
Usually at least 4 of the capacitors are bulging/leaking, but sometimes as many
as 8 or 9 of the 14 on the little board have failure signs. You'd think the
logic board capacitors would be bad, but I've seen only a few bad caps on eMac
boards.

These eMacs will be given to schools and needy kids. Thanks in advance for your
help.
