For sale, Griffin Technology charge converter for iPods. This charge converter is for older Firewire iPods to be charged in the standard iPod/iPhone/iPad charges of today that use USB. It plugs in between the charger and the iPod with a pass through iPod connector. The connector will pass audio signals and take the firewire charging pins and regulate it to the USB pins. If no firewire pins are present (like in most docks), then it pass through the power pins.
I have also used these adapters on a device that has a case and the case did not provide enough clearance for the speaker. The adapter raised up the iPod/iPhone with the case and all and pass all the signals to the speaker. Here is a picture of it: http://www.amazon.com/Griffin-Charge-Converter-Adapter-iPhones/dp/B001OI2VGI/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_t I have found two units. Each unit for $5 including shipping in the continental US. Will accept paypal. Pedro Gelabert Allen, TX 75002 -- You received this message because you are a member of the LEM Swap group.
