Up for sale is my Early 2006 Mac Mini (A1176), formerly a Core Solo but now upgraded to a 2.0GHz Core2 Duo (T7200). Specs are below:
Core2 Duo 2.0GHz (4MB L2 cache) 2GB RAM 60GB HD DVD/CD-RW Combo drive Gigabit Ethernet Airport Extreme Bluetooth 2.0+EDR If you're looking for a great media center Mac, media/file/backup server, or just a compact, quiet, energy-efficient desktop then this is it. I've been using this as a media center hooked up to my TV, also running a streaming video server, VPN server, and remote/local network backup server for all my other Macs and my extended family. The 2.0GHz C2D processor has more than enough power to handle 1080p video and still smoothly transcode videos for streaming (while also handling VPN connections and network backups). With everyone in my family owning a laptop, this Mac Mini plus a 2TB NAS served as our own family "cloud". I'm selling this Mac Mini because I recently got two more (!) and I'm trying to consolidate. I may have another one to list here shortly. There is some yellowing to the white plastic on top (typical of these models), but other than that it is in great condition. I performed the RAM and CPU upgrades myself (I'm an Apple certified technician so I've done many upgrades/repairs like this before) using Arctic Silver thermal paste, and I haven't had any issues. Temperatures on the CPU core run around 150ºF under moderate CPU load (50%), 130ºF at idle (with all the stuff running on this Mac, idle was about 10-15%). Currently running 10.7 Lion but will be wiped per list rules. Comes with power supply and DVI-to-VGA adapter. Asking $265 shipped to the CONUS.
